My name is Rachel Casamassa, owner and primary maker behind SOAPothecary products. Welcome and thank you for stopping by!
A question I get asked often is, “What is the meaning behind SOAPothecary?” I thought this was a great place to answer this question and explain the meaning behind our brand.
For those who may not know, in ancient times, an apothecary was a person who prepared and sold medicine to people who needed to get well. Here at SOAPothecary, we obviously don’t prepare and sell medicine, but we do handcraft natural, plant-based, cruelty-free bath and body products that we want to make people feel good, especially those who could use the extra boost (hi, fellow mental health warriors 👋🏽). When I get into the shower, I’m always so excited to lather up with one of SOAPothecary’s colorful and fragrant bars of soap or gently exfoliate with one of our delightful sugar scrubs. These products make me feel amazing and I am so thrilled to share that feeling with you.
I don’t want our customers to just use our products— I want them to have an exciting and mood boosting experience every single time they do. So step into our store, find something that speaks to you and step up your self-care game. You won’t regret it.
